Blaite is a deceptively simple yet maddeningly addictive 2D platformer that will test your reflexes and patience in equal measure. Blaite offers a minimalist control scheme. You can only jump and change gravity. Mastering these simple mechanics is crucial to overcoming the game’s many obstacles. Each level is a short, self-contained gauntlet of spikes, moving platforms, and other hazards. One wrong jump spells instant death, forcing you to start the level over again. The frustration of failure can be real, but conquering a particularly challenging level is incredibly rewarding.
