Lightmatter is a puzzle game set in a mysterious scientific facility. Players are challenged to navigate through a series of puzzles and obstacles, all while staying in the light. With deadly shadows lurking in the darkness, they must strategically position light sources and manipulate mirrors to create safe pathways. Use lateral thinking to solve mind-bending puzzles with lights, shadows, beams, platforms, and lightmatter. The games shines with its humorous narration of the story and its many “Portal” references. Most puzzles are straight forward with a few harder ones mixed in throughout your journey. Several chapters have platforming elements including an enjoyable run & jump sequence towards the end. Game can be finished within 6 hours and contains 39 chapters with two different endings.
