Global Outbreak: Doomsday Edition is an action game set in a post-apocalyptic world. As humanity faces the devastating aftermath of a global outbreak, players take on the role of a skilled soldier tasked with eradicating hordes of bloodthirsty zombies and mutant creatures. Fight back the infection from above on the tactical globe, and then send in your troops to battle off the infected on the ground and destroy the devastating “Zompods” that are spreading the mutant plague throughout the world. The globe provides the central HUB of the game where you make your vital tactical decisions. To control the infection you must build “Outposts” in key locations. Using a variety of different air units and turret installations, you will manage the global infection from the air, and transport in troops to tackle the infection on the ground. Build up a roster of soldiers and deploy them in a variety of locations. As they gain experience from ground missions they will turn from new recruits into elite mercenaries by levelling up their various skills. Take your men from campaign to campaign, building up an army of ultimate warriors to fight the infection.
